Bison sp. partial skull bone (1925 grams)
Bison sp. (wood bison) partial skull bone. The bison fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. There were Mammuthus meridionalis remains in its surroundings, so its age is probably between 2.4 and 0.6 million years. The dimensions of the skull fragment are approximately: length 181 mm, height 148 mm, width 250 mm. Weight: approx. 1925 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with Polyvinyl Butyral 30.
