Bos primigenius partial horn bone. The Bos primigenius fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The size of the bone is approx.: length (distance between two ends measured straight) 512 mm, greatest width 102 mm. Weight approx.: 3086 grams + packaging. Drying cracks are visible on the bone. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
