Cervus elaphus partial plevic bone
Partial pelvic bone of a Cervus elaphus (red deer) from the Pleistocene period. The deer fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the bone are approximately: 209 mm x 106 mm x 61 mm. Weight approximately: 183 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
