Pleistocene age cf. Cervus deer metatarsal bone. The deer fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the bone are approx.: Length: 299 mm, width 44 mm, thickness 41 mm. Weight approx.: 290 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
