Cladophlebis denticulata fern leaf fossil pair
Jurassic age (approx. 201 - 196 million years old) Cladophlebis denticulata partial fern leaf imprint in pair. The fern fossil was unearthed during coal mining in the Mecsek Mountains in Hungary near the settlement of Pécs-Vasas. The dimensions of the stones containing the plant remains are approx.: (A): 95.6 mm x 68 mm x 40 mm. Weight approx.: 258 grams + packaging. (B): 114 mm x 67 mm x 22 mm. Weight approx.: 160 grams + packaging. When the stone (B) was found, it broke into several pieces and was glued together with cyanoacrylate.
