Deer cf. Rangifer tarandus partial vertebra
Pleistocene deer cf. Rangifer tarandus partial vertebral bone. The deer fossil was found during trawling in the North Sea in the Netherlands. The dimensions of the vertebra are approximately: length 41 mm, height 121 mm, width 101 mm. Weight approximately: 97 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with Collal glue dissolved in acetone. In some places on the surface of the bone, the remains of bryozoans that still live in the sea are visible.
