Partial tooth of Pleistocene Elephas antiquus formerly known as Palaeoloxodon antiquus. The elephant fossil was unearthed during mining in Heves County, Hungary. The dimensions of the tooth are approx.: length: 105 mm, height 163 mm, width 93 mm. Weight: 1573 grams + packaging. The surface of the tooth is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Buryral 30 dissolved in ethanol. Drying cracks are visible on the tooth.
