Partial tooth of Elephas antiquus (formerly known as Palaeoloxodon antiquus). The elephant tooth was found during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the tooth are approximately: length 117 mm, height 107 mm, width 73.8 mm. Weight approximately: 642 grams + packaging. The surface of the tooth is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
