Partial jaw of a Pleistocene horse (Equus sp.). The horse fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. Two whole teeth are visible in the jaw. When the jaw was found, it was broken into two pieces and glued together with cyanoacrylate. The dimensions of the jaw are approximately: length 175 mm, height 103 mm, width 29.4 mm. Weight approximately: 335 grams + packaging. The surface of the jaw is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
