Equus sp. partial jaw (223 mm) Horse
Partial jaw of a Pleistocene horse (Equus sp.). The horse fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. Four whole teeth are visible in the jaw. The jaw measures approximately: length 223 mm, height 87.9 mm, width 30.3 mm. Weight approximately: 428 grams + packaging. The surface of the jaw is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
