Equus sp. partial jaw (364 mm)
Partial jaw of a Pleistocene horse (Equus sp.). The horse fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. 6 whole teeth are visible in the jaw. There is a large drying crack on the side of the jaw. The dimensions of the jaw are approximately: length 364 mm, height 168 mm, width 33 mm. Weight approximately: 1033 grams + packaging. The surface of the jaw is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
