Equus sp. radius & ulna bone
Pleistocene Equus sp. (horse) complete radius and partial ulna bone. The horse fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. Chewing marks are visible at the end of the ulna bone. The ulna and radius bones are fused together. The dimensions of the bone are approximately: length 437 mm, width 104 mm, thickness 129 mm. Weight approximately: 1490 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
