Equus sp. radius & ulna bone (435 mm)
Pleistocene Equus sp. (horse) complete radius and partial ulna bone. The horse fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The ulna and radius bones are fused together. The dimensions of the bone are approximately: length 435 mm, width 91 mm, thickness 70 mm. Weight approximately: 772 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
