Halichoerus grypus partial jaw (Grey seal)
Partial jaw of a Pleistocene grey seal (Halichoerus grypus?). The seal fossil was found during trawling in the North Sea, near the coast of the Netherlands. The jaw dimensions are approximately: length 159 mm, height 73 mm, width 22 mm. Weight approximately: 82 grams + packaging. The surface of the jaw is preserved with Collal glue dissolved in acetone.
