Hippopotamus cf. antiquus tooth
Pleistocene Hippopotamus cf. last lower tooth of antiquus (European hippopotamus). This tooth was in an old French collection. Unfortunately, there was no label next to the tooth, so its exact location is unknown. From the calcium carbonate deposits visible on the tooth from the color of the tooth, it can be assumed that it may come from a cave-like deposit. The dimensions of the tooth are approx.: length 63 mm, height 82 mm, width 37 mm. Weight approx.: 175 grams + packaging.
