Kalcite, dolomite, quartz mineral from Transylvania
Calcite, dolomite, quartz crystals. The mineral was collected before 1990 in Transylvania, Romania (Cavern mine?). The size of the crystal group is approximately 92 mm x 80 mm x 66 mm. Weight approx: 341 grams + packaging. Quartz crystals originally grew calcite crystals and grew dolomite crystals. In their place, calcite formed a cavity. The dolomite crystals were scattered with calcite crystals. The largest double-ended calcite crystal is 11 mm.
