Kalcite geoda from Hungary (13 Kg)
Calcite crystalline geode in limestone. The mineral was found in Hungary in the Gerecse Mountains near the city of Tatabánya during limestone mining in May 2025. The dimensions of the stone containing calcite crystals are approx.: 293 mm x 295 mm x 184 mm. The weight of the stone is approx.: 13 Kg. + packaging. The largest diameter of the calcite geode (cavity) is 147 mm. The cavity opens to the other side of the stone, so the interior can be illuminated without drilling.
