Calcite septarian from Hungary (2592 gram)
Burnish of half septaria tube mineral calcite. The calcite inside of septaria glows in UW long-wave light, in yellow. The septaria has surfaced in Hungary, Gerecse Mountains near the town of Bicske-Csordakút during bauxite mining. The polished surface measuring approximately 192 mm x 133 mm. The stone depth of about 69 mm. It weighs about 2592 grams + packing.
