Miocene age: about 14 million years Kentriodontidae (dolphin) Atocetus fuchsii partial humerus (upper arm) bone. The dolphin fossil came to the surface in Hungary, Baranya County, near the city of Pécs, during mining in the Danitz desert sand mine about 20 years ago. The dimensions of the bone are approx.: length 45 mm, width 27 mm, thickness 22 mm. Weight approx.: 17 grams + packaging. The bone is not preserved in its natural state.
