Komlosaurus carbonis footprint fossil (16 Kg)
A fossil of a dinosaur footprint called Komlosaurus carbonis from the Jurassic period, about 200 million years old. A piece of the footprint can be seen on the stone slab. The Komlosaurus footprint was found during open-pit coal mining in the Mecsek Mountains, Hungary, near the settlement of Pécs-Vasas, about 20 years ago. The dimensions of the stone containing the footprint are about 392 mm x 380 mm x 85 mm. The weight of the stone is about 16 Kg + packaging. The stone is in natural condition, not preserved. There are footprints on both sides of the stone. The largest footprint reaches a length of 24 cm.
