Partial upper tooth of a giant tapir named Lophiodon lautricense from the Eocene age (approx. 52-41 million years old).
The fossil weighs approx. 108 grams + packaging.
The dimensions of the fossil are approx. 52 mm x 45 mm x 53 mm.
The Lophiodon remains were found during coal mining near Robiac in France more than 20 years ago.
The remains are in their natural state. They are not preserved.
