Mammoth tooth (412 grams)
Mammuthus sp. mammoth tooth worn down during chewing. The mammoth fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The tooth measures approximately: length 112 mm, height 74 mm, width 73 mm. Weight approximately: 412 grams + packaging. The surface of the tooth is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
