Mammuthus meridionalis tooth (380 gram)
Mammuthus meridionalis (Southern mammoth) complete, but small tooth worn off from chewing. The tooth has surfaced in Hungary, Pest County during gravel mining in December 2016. The size is approximately 98 mm x 74 mm x 76 mm. It weighs about 380 grams + packing. On its surface were visible brownish stains, but on this place was marcasite gravel sediment earlier. The tooth surface with PVB (Movital) is preserved. This substance is soluble to alcohol.
