Mammuthus primigenius Hair Woolly Mammoth
The fur of a woolly mammoth Mammuthus primigenius from the Pleistocene (ca. 16,000 years ago). The origin of the mammoth fur is Russia, Yakutia. In Yakutia, due to global warming and intensive collection and research, mammoth carcasses are often found thawing from the frozen ground, the fur of which has remained in relatively good condition over the millennia. I provide the mammoth fur in a sealable storage bag measuring approx. 220 mm x 152 mm. The weight of the bag containing the mammoth fur is approx. 8 grams.
