Mammuthus primigenius (woolly mammoth) partial magnum foot bone. The mammoth fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the bone are approx. 138 mm x 119 mm x 95 mm. Weight approx. 894 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol. Many drying cracks are visible on the bone.
