Mammuthus primigenius lower teeth in pair (5140 grams) Woolly Mammoth
Mammuthus primigenius (woolly mammoth) lower teeth in pair. The mammoth fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The two lower teeth belonged to a mammoth. The dimensions of the teeth are approximately: Right tooth: length 245 mm, height 144 mm, width 89 mm. Weight approximately: 2596 grams + packaging. Left tooth: length 241 mm, height 154 mm, width 91 mm. Weight approximately: 2544 grams + packaging. The surface of the teeth is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
