Mammuthus primigenius partial tooth (4276 grams)
Partial tooth of Mammuthus primigenius (woolly mammoth). The mammoth fossil was found during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. When it was found, it was broken into two pieces and glued together with cyanoacrylate. The dimensions of the tooth are approximately: length 251 mm, height 200 mm, width 95 mm. Weight approximately: 4276 grams + packaging. The surface of the tooth is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
