Mammuthus primigenius tooth (1322 grams) Woolly Mammoth
*Mammuthus primigenius* (woolly mammoth) tooth. The mammoth fossil was unearthed during gravel mining operations in Pest County, Hungary. Approximate dimensions: length 161 mm, height 151 mm, width 79 mm. Approximate weight: 1322 grams (excluding packaging). The surface of the tooth has been preserved with Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol. Numerous drying cracks are visible on the tooth; these cracks have been filled with cyanoacrylate.
