Mammuthus primigenius (woolly mammoth) tooth. The mammoth fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the tooth are approx.: length 236 mm, height 99 mm, width 84 mm. Weight approx.: 1496 grams + packaging. This tooth was collected more than 20 years ago. The surface of the tooth was preserved with Poliurex (synthetic resin-based) varnish. This makes the surface of the tooth shiny.
