Mammuthus primigenius tooth (4502 grams)
Partial tooth of Mammuthus primigenius (woolly mammoth). The mammoth fossil was found during gravel mining in Heves County, Hungary. When it was found, it was broken into two pieces and glued together with cyanoacrylate. The dimensions of the tooth are approximately: length 300 mm, height 176 mm, width 92 mm. Weight approximately: 4502 grams + packaging. The surface of the tooth is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
