Mammuthus primigenius tooth (808 grams) Woolly mammoth SOLD (M) 06
Partial tooth of Mammuthus primigenius (woolly mammoth). The mammoth fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The tooth measures approximately: length 128 mm, height 130 mm, width 64 mm. Weight approximately: 808 grams + packaging. The tooth surface is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol. A piece is missing from the front of the tooth and there is a damage on the chewing surface.
