Mammuthus primigenius upper tooth (3998 grams) Woolly Mammoth
Mammuthus primigenius (woolly mammoth) upper tooth. The mammoth fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the tooth are approx.: length 283 mm, height 185 mm, width 79 mm. Its weight is approx. 3998 grams + packaging. This tooth was collected more than 20 years ago. The tooth shows some old drying cracks. The cracks were filled with cyanoacrylate. The surface of the tooth is preserved with cyanoacrylate and a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
