Partially shed antler of a Pleistocene Megaloceros giganteus (giant deer). The Megaloceros fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the antler are approximately: the largest distance between the two ends is 252 mm. The largest diameter of the antler rose (crown) is 66 mm. The weight of the antler is approximately: 398 grams + packaging. The surface of the antler is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30.
