Megaloceros giganteus (Irish giant deer) partial right lower jaw. The deer fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. Dimensions of the jaw: length 185 mm, height 98 mm, width 35 mm. Weight approx.: 352 grams + packaging. The surface of the jaw is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
