Megaloceros sp. partial skull bone
Pleistocene Megaloceros sp. (verticornis?) giant deer partial skull bone. The Megaloceros fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the skull bone are approximately: length 243 mm, width 248 mm, height 149 mm. The largest diameter of the aqgangstő is 85 mm. The weight of the skull is approximately: 3570 grams + packaging. The surface of the skull is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
