Monachopsis pontica seal humerus bone from ex Ukraine (Russia)
Upper arm bone (humerus) of Monachopsis pontica from Miocene age (25 - 10 million years). The place of origin of the seal bone is Kerch, (formerly Ukraine) now Russia. When the bone was found, it was broken in two but was glued together. The dimensions of the bone are approximately: 65 mm x 28 mm x 26 mm. Weight approx.: 28 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is in a natural state, not preserved.
