Monachopsis pontica seal partial humerus bone
Partial upper arm bone (humerus) of the seal Monachopsis pontica of Miocene age (25 - 10 million years). The place of origin of the seal bone is Kerch, (formerly Ukraine) now Russia. Black manganese mineral coatings are visible on the bone. The dimensions of the bone are approximately: 69 mm x 31 mm x 27 mm. Weight: approx. 41 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is in a natural state, not preserved.
