Onchosaurus maroccanus partial tooth in matrix
Cretaceous (approx. 66-90 million years old) Onchosaurus maroccanus (Schizorhiza sp.) fish tooth on phosphate bedrock. A fragment of a fish vertebra can also be seen in the rock. The find comes from a phosphate mine near Khouribga in Morocco. The size of the stone is approx: 81 mm x 72 mm x 26 mm. Weight approx.: 107 grams + packaging. The size of the Onchosaurus tooth is approx. 37 mm.
