The tooth of the Miocene - Pliocene shark Otodus megalodon (formerly known as Carcharocles megalodon). The shark tooth fossil is from West Java in Indonesia. The dimensions of the tooth including the base stone are approx. 101 mm x 98 mm x 28 mm. Weight approx.: 197 grams + packaging. The cutting edge of the megalodon is beautiful, with a nice serration. The part of the root of the tooth has dissolved, and the bedrock can be seen in its place
