Upper tooth of Pleistocene Palaeoloxodon antiquus (also known as: Elephas antiquus). The Palaeoloxodon fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Győr-Moson-Sopron County, Hungary. The dimensions of the tooth are approx.: length 174 mm, height 165 mm, width 77 mm. Weight approx.: 1632 grams + packaging. The surface of the tooth is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30.
