Parascutella vindoboensis from Fazekasboda
Miocene (Badenian) sea urchin fossil Parascutella vindoboensis. The Parascutella fossil was unearthed during sand mining in Hungary, near the settlement of Fazekasboda. The dimensions of the Parascutella are approximately: 136 mm x 150 mm x 33 mm. Weight: approx. 518 grams + packaging. The surface of the sea urchin is preserved with cyanoacrylate. In the lower part of the fossil, the original sand layer can be seen petrified.
