Parascutella vindoboensis from Fazekasboda (100 mm)
Miocene (Badenian) Parascutella vindoboensis sea urchin fossil. The Parascutella fossil was unearthed during sand mining in Hungary, near the settlement of Fazekasboda. The dimensions of the Parascutella are approximately: 96 mm x 100 mm x 20 mm. Weight approx.: 125 grams + packaging. The surface of the sea urchin is preserved with cyanoacrylate. In the lower part of the fossil, the original sand layer can be seen petrified.
