Polished calcite from Vác
Polished layered calcite slice ground on one side. The mineral came to the surface during mining in the Sejce limestone mine in the Börzsöny mountains near the settlement of Vác in Hungary. The size of the grind is approx: 283 mm x 119 mm. The thickness of the slice is approx. 12.5 mm. Calcite weight: 806 grams + packaging. Calcite glows in long-wave UV light.
