Polished petrified wood from Hungary, Fony (1346 grams)
Polishing of Miocene wood in limnocartzite bedrock. One side of the stone is cut polished and the other side is in natural condition. The wood fossil surfaced during limnocarcite mining in the Zemplén Mountains near Fony, Hungary. The size of the polished surface is approx. 131 mm x 71 mm. The maximum thickness of the stone is 116 mm. Weight approx: 1346 grams + packaging. The largest diameter of the wood stone is 76 mm.
