Rhinoceros partial atlas vertebra
Pleistocene rhinoceros atlas (first) cervical vertebra bone. The rhinoceros fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The vertebra measures approximately: length 111 mm, height 113 mm, width 197 mm. Weight approximately: 687 grams + packaging. The surface of the vertebra is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
