Rhinoceros partial jaw bone (186 mm)
Partial jawbone of a Pleistocene rhinoceros (*Stephanorhinus* sp.). The rhinoceros fossil was unearthed during gravel mining operations in Pest County, Hungary. The approximate dimensions of the jawbone are: length 186 mm, height 87 mm, and width 50 mm. Its weight is approximately 615 grams (excluding packaging). The surface of the bone has been preserved using Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
