Rhinoceros radius bone (398 mm)
Partial radius bone of a Pleistocene rhinoceros. The rhinoceros fossil was found during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. When it was found, it was broken into two pieces and glued together with cyanoacrylate. The dimensions of the radius bone are approximately: length 398 mm, width 131 mm, thickness 89 mm. Weight approximately: 1928 grams + packaging. The surface of the vertebra is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
