Seal (Pagophilus groenlandicus?) partial femur bone
Partial femur (thigh) bone of a Pleistocene seal (Pagophilus groenlandicus?). The seal fossil was found during trawling in the North Sea, near the coast of the Netherlands. The dimensions of the femur bone are approximately: length: 87 mm, width: 53 mm, thickness 28 mm. Weight: approx. 54 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with Collal glue.
