Seal partial cervical vertebra (cf. Halichoerus grypus )
Partial cervical vertebra of a Pleistocene grey seal (Halichoerus grypus?). The seal fossil was found during trawling in the North Sea, near the coast of the Netherlands. The vertebra measures approx.: length 33 mm, height 54 mm, width 58 mm. Weight approx.: 36 grams + packaging. The surface of the vertebra is preserved with Collal glue dissolved in acetone.
