Sparidae fish tooth from Nyírád SOLD (EA) 03
Front tooth of a Sparidae fish of Miocene (Badenian) age. The fish fossil came to the surface during bauxite mining near Nyírád settlement in the Bakony mountain range in Hungary. The dimensions of the tooth are approximately: 10 mm x 7.5 mm x 7 mm. Weight: approx. 1 gram + packaging.
